Hammerwerk kapo Gesellschaft mbH & Co KG consists of the following segments:

  • Turning and Milling Technology (CNC and conventional)

  • Agricultural Technology

Our company’s broad range of activities allows us to manufacture products for the various segments, but also to deliver ready-to-install products and components to our customers.

Through their qualifications and commitment, our approximately 20 employees help us achieve our primary goals: Flexibility, Swiftness, and Quality. Since working together with our customers is very important to us, we focus mainly on the following three key aspects:

History

1837
First mentioned in a document as a forge and mill

1898
Johann and Maria Burian (parents of Anna Podlesnic) purchased the business.

1935
Karl and Anna Podlesnic (master miller) took over the business and enlarged the forge. They produced hoes, pickaxes, shovels, pitchforks, and the first wear parts for tillage tools such as plowshares for horse and oxen plows and tines for harrows.

1972
Karl and Magarete Podlesnic took over the family business and expanded its segment for wear parts for tillage tools. Furthermore, they added the new segments Tunnel Construction, Transmission Manufacturing, and Overhead Line Construction.

1998
Karlheinz and Michaela Podlesnic took over the business and promoted its further expansion.

1999
The company was renamed and reestablished as Hammerwerk-kapo Ges.m.b.H. und Co.KG.

2000
Establishment of a Machining department for the finishing of forged parts and also of a Contract Manufacturing department

2008
Addition of an open storage space of 3,000m²

2012
Extension of the hall space by 1,800 m² to be used for high-bay storage and the cutting of raw materials to the required sizes

2013
Installation of a press line

2017
Installation of a welding robot line
